How many people can use one Netflix account?
Only one person at a time.
Netflix requires that each account has to be assigned to only one user. There is no limit on the number of users on the account, however there can only be one active instance per user at any given time.
One person can use their Netflix account on any number of devices, computers, or TV screens at the same time.
Each Netflix streaming member is able to simultaneously watch a different show on one account in up to three locations at once-on a PC, TV screen and/or mobile device. This means you can share your membership with friends, family members and roommates-streaming Netflix shows while traveling or living abroad as well. But remember that your friend’s browsing habits and even location may be different than yours which could cause them to receive recommendations for things you already know about – like documentaries about jaguars – but won’t get recommendations for things you might be interested in too like soccer movies!
It’s a very common misconception that once you get access to something, you’re entitled to unlimited use of it. For example, at one point Netflix accounts could only be used by 2 people. More recently, however, Netflix switched to unlimited usage for any account purchased in the USA or Canada. As a result, there is no limit on how many people can use your account (aside from the bandwidth limitations of your connection).
Streaming movies and tv shows on Netflix can only be done on one device at a time.
Netflix does not offer the option of multiple profiles in their current subscription system; every user will be logged in with the same log in information, like a Gmail account, and stream from that single user’s queue. This is likely to change as they continue to evolve or build their business model though. It should also be noted that they are streaming movies only, NOT videos of any type (YouTube style). As far as how many people use it- everyone I know has it!
Your Netflix account is registered to you, not everyone in your family. For families with one account, each person can have their own personalized profile. We show personalization suggestions for the kids in the dropdown menu but no one sees anyone else’s list unless they actually look at it.
Otherwise, each member of your household–parents and whatever adults are living there–needs a separate account to access the service from different devices. This also means that two kids only watch together if theirs are linked so they share an account on both devices.

Depends. 4 people can watch the same movie at the same time on an account license unless you’re happy with watching their screens in different smaller windows (you need to spend a bit of money to upgrade). Netflix also has geographical limitations, so if for instance one person is in Singapore and the others are in California, it won’t work. Besides that though, there don’t seem to be any limits.
Netflix only allows 4 devices at a time to be connected to an account simultaneously. However this is below the number of people who would realistically be using one account.
In addition, the other Netflix members in a household can set up their own separate profiles on your computer or device, which will use this streaming video service within the limits of their respective Netflix membership plans. When you log out from one profile and into another profile, your customized settings for things like screen brightness and playback options will carry over. So if each member likes different movie genres or has different preferences otherwise, they get 4 personalized accounts that share one subscription cost but do as they please!
