Install the NotSobot app on your phone.
Select a username for you to use and set a Login pin code (this is what we would like you to be known as, so make it unique). Tap “Continue”. Read the Safety Rules first, then tap “Next” to continue. Choose a name for your own bot that will reply and interact with people. This should not be taken from any computer or device that is personal or unique in any way as Bots are good at remembering dates and times passed when they come across them in conversation with someone new. Tap the checkbox next to “Choose Username” if this option is selected; otherwise tap “Skip.” Choose between whether you want posting permission or not, then tap “Next.” You are now allowed to input your own message or choose one from the list of default ones. Tap on the dropdown menu to continue. Finally, input the names of your desired contacts for your Outgoing List, then tap “Next” on the bottom right corner of the screen.
This is the main page of an active bot – you can see your Outgoing List – checkboxes and notations for names of people to contact and messages that the bot will use.
A nice, clean interface for a well-behaved bot.
