How to use the snipping tool on a Chromebook?

ChromeOS doesn’t come with a built-in “snipping tool”, but it is simple to use one. Here’s how to do so: Press the keyboard shortcut [Ctrl] +[Alt] + [Shift] +[ ] (The square bracket symbols now show) and you will see an onscreen popup appear, prompting you for your selection size. Dragging diagonally from any corner of your preference will capture the desired area and save it as PNG format into StorageMy Snips folder. You can view and select images by clicking on My Snips in Drive folder icon listed at top of Settings page under Files section.
