What does the Infinity 1 enhancement in Minecraft do to a bow?
It changes the bow’s power from 1.5 to 2.0, but makes it lose durability faster.
The Infinity 1 bow in Minecraft is an arrow stuck in an unbreakable block for decoration that had a hidden “trick” for players who want to alter a bow’s behavior during gameplay. The Infinity 1 upgrade doesn’t directly affect the damage and range of arrows shot by the bow, but instead increases its durability decreasing repair time.
When you equip this item and switch away from normal bows, it will slightly increase your tool-specific CND when performing a crafting operation (normally takes 20% less), just enough so you save some resources over time. This effect only lasts as long as you’re wielding the bow.
