What is MGTOW all about?
MGTOW is about the men that have had enough. Men are realizing they can, and many should, take a step back and say to themselves “Self, it’s just not worth it.” They give up sex in exchange for becoming good fathers and providers which will get them admiration from society again. Women may even need their help if the feminist trends of today continue.
It originated in 1997 with Dr. Warren Farrell who wrote “Why Men Are The Way They Are” then later “The Myth of Male Power”. Now thousands more have joined his way of thinking after noticing what people think isn’t working out for males these days since the World Wars when males were needed as factory workers or soldiers but now they’re not necessary to be around. Just ask Japan or Korea!
MGTOW does not mean “going your own way”, which is what many people believe it to be, but simply means Men Going Their Own Way . No one person can give you the “how-tos” because that would defeat the freedom of self actualization. It’s about men finding their own way and making their own rules within society with no one directing them.
MGTOW isn’t about “being single”, either, which is what many MGTOWs think it is. It’s about not changing who you are for someone else so you can be in a relationship with them…people don’t realize they may not need a relationship and the most beautiful thing is to not need others.
MGTOW is not a form of activism but rather just men thinking for themselves and coming together in solidarity. Some MGTOWs do things such as boycotting marriage because it’s unfair, especially when double standards exist against guys when they’re accused or even when they’re proven guilty and the entire system is in favor of women.
MGTOWs help each other find peace, happiness, and freedom from society’s punishment for not being with a woman or simply living their lives. It’s about looking out for one another and supporting each other in our choices no matter how different they may be.
