MGTOW is a movement of men who pursue goals, happiness and lifestyle without marrying.
MGTOW (pronounced ‘mg-tow’) are all about liberating themselves from the societal expectations that say they should focus on getting married and investing in a family institution begun by Helen Reddy in 1967 – which is still symbolised by an object called a “wedding”.
MGTOW don’t have to be devoted to sexual pleasures with other people like many “dudes” say it does. It’s about using dating apps like Bumble or Tinder for one thing – meeting new women – but not finding something more serious beyond that. For some MGTOW, there isn’t really much difference obviously between a one-night stand and a long-term partner.
