Where are Minecraft screenshots saved?
The good news is that if you’re on a PC, simply go to the “find” bar at the top of your screen and type in “%appdata%”. You’ll then see a folder named /”.minecraft” with two folders inside it. One will be called “saves”, and the other will be called “.minecraft”. Find your slot’s .minecraft folder (the one with the most items) and open it. Inside that folder there should be an area for screenshots.
The screenshots are stored in the app folder of the Minecraft installation.
To see at which level your screenshot was taken, click on Recent Tabs (in Chrome), scroll down and go to Play > Minecraft > Minecraft Screenshots. Find the screenshot you want to look at then right-click it, choose Rename or Move and type what you want the title to be! To take a new screenshot, repeat these steps but make sure that you have selected Forge first from the dropdown menu before starting up your game.
Minecraft screenshots are saved in the Minecraft installation folder. For Windows installations this is usually “C:/Program Files/Java/jre1.8.0_161/”. (On Mac and Linux, the program files directory generally stays out of sight.) There may be multiple copies depending on what version is installed etc., but they will always have a suffix of .screenshot.png or .screenshot.bmp depending on which format Minecraft was saved as by default.
They are saved in the “My Pictures” folder.
Pressing the Windows key and typing “My Pictures” will open up a folder of your saved pictures. This is where all Minecraft screenshots would be located unless you moved them to a different location on your computer.
Screenshots from Minecraft are saved to the following folder on your Windows computer (C:/Users/insert user name here/Pictures)/
