The fastest sorting data structure is mergesort. The problem with mergesort is that it can potentially be slow in time complexity by proportional to n ^ 2 (or O(n^2), if not carefully implemented). Another disadvantage of the algorithm is that it is only stable, whereas quicksort has both advantages. Quicksort has a linear time complexity and only requires constant space extra storage space; but the downside being that quicksort’s algorithm isn’t as stable as mergesorting’s algorithm.

Importantly, for those who are looking to sort very large number for arrays or other types of containers, there are faster algorithms such as heapsorts and quickselects which efficiently allow you work on your data with the assumption that the data is already sorted.

Fortunately there are some interesting algorithms out there which can give us a combination of both algorithms’ good points and abilities.

A lycan shepherd (or lycan herder) is someone who lives among the predators, either because they are a predator themselves or have chosen to live as one.

Lytans and other werewolves often refer to themselves as “shepherds”, because they are on the border between civilization and wildness. They protect humans from the more predatory societies within our own species, including those wanting to try upon us their philosophies of unchaining humans’ animal natures without actually addressing them in action. So one could call a lycan herder both primal protectionist and defender of civilization. Both roles are crucial for protecting society from tearing itself apart in self-annihilation, but it requires deep understanding of human behavior past its surface level to realize this.

Lytans are a part of the pack, but they live apart from it, either by choice or exile. They have a very separate culture and independent goals from lycans except in rare cases where a shepherd actually becomes a lycan himself. The two also tend to not get along very well due to their different lifestyles, which can lead to some deeply embittered feelings if a shepherd happens to meet a lycan in human form.

Lytans are hunters and dangerous predators who sometimes come into conflict with humans, but they are also capable of understanding the value of civilization and working within it for its continued success and protection. Shepherds generally do not want to destroy civilization, but rather protect it from being destroyed by humanities darker urges. They have a keen sense of the fragility of society, and they are willing to give up their own freedom if it is what is needed for humans as a species to continue on.

They tend to live more solitary lives than lycans too, or in small packs (often extended family groups) that protect one another. They tend to be very protective of their territory, even if they live in the city where they are harder to enforce boundaries on. Each lycan shepherd will have his or her own philosophy of what is appropriate for an individual to do which fits within the pack’s rule of law, but understanding that law and agreeing with it is just as crucial to lycan society as those who enforce the law itself.

In 1918, Russia’s lunar observatory was established in Crimea after being taken from Turkey following the 1917 Russian Revolution. This area was under a Turkish occupation until 1856 when it became part of Imperial Russia. During World War I and with the advent of new long-distance bomber aircraft technologies, places like this highly strategic position became increasingly vulnerable to attack from enemies encroaching on their borders. To safeguard its satellite positions in Eastern Europe against surprise attack for any unreliable circumstances that might arise with Ankara’s withdrawal of Russian war support on these outposts, Knyaz Oleg Konstantinovich Sentiobriga-Bibuła, an Imperial Russian general devised a plan to counter Turkish forces.

Basically, Sharingan is a power that possesses innate precognition which activates automatically to produce mental images of possible future events. It does not predict specific events, people or objects and only produces general warning for danger spots/expositions so the user can take necessary precautionary measures. Note that this is just an ability and not necessarily a spell someone could use in magic battles as it has been shown throughout anime.

The most known Sharingan’s powers are Uchihagaeshi no Jutsu (Apparition Technique), Amaterasu, Susano’o, Kamui etc. I won’t be explaining these abilities individually but it will help if you have watched Naruto series to know more about them 🙂
