Lycan Shepherds are guardians of the human heart. They protect their flock’s core faith and values up to and including with their very lives.
If you see a knight who has been written about in songs, stories and books, then it might be one. You typically find them out at night, on horseback carrying a sword or pistol, keeping the peace amongst those that some would prefer to keep divided.”
A lycan shepherd is a person who specializes in the care of sheep for the production and sale of wool, meat, and dairy products.
Lycan shepherds are typically people like farmers, ranchers, or bee-keepers that raise livestock to sell their raw products (for example beef). They typically work for different buyers such as restaurants or grocery stores and employ methods involving large amounts of land. Given that most owners now operate on a small scale to meet more specialized needs, they now own just one type of animal which requires less space.
A lycan shepherd is someone who guides a werewolf back to human form after the annual change has begun.
A werewolf begins its transformation by shaking first, then complaining of a sore throat. They soon develop what appears to be a severe cold or flu, with fever and other symptoms. At the height of this phase they exhibit confusion and irritability. The person’s hair may grow longer, skin will turn pale, nails will turn sharper, mouth secretes an excessive amount of saliva (pant),and no illnesses can be treated other than fluids that restore energy levels for the moment only which cause violent behavior if given in large quantities rendering them total absentmindedness while administering treatment and when attacked also severely wounded causing bleeding wounds which cannot heal unless a lycan shepherd is present.
A person in the second phase of their transformation starts to complain about pain in their abdomen and nausea, while they will begin to show more wolf-like traits such as increased senses, faster reflexes and an increased appetite for raw meat (though meats such as bacon, ham and beef do not affect them unless in large quantities). They will begin to growl, pant and howl more while moving about (pant).
The third phase of the transformation causes the person to be completely overcome with rage. They will slash anything they can reach until someone is able to calm them down enough for their change back into human form against their will.
If they are not calmed down, then this phase will last until the transformation is complete.
The fourth phase of the change causes the person to exhibit more wolf-like behavior. They are physically unable to talk, but can understand language. The only thing they are able to say is their name and any other word which comes out as a howl or a growl. Their only goal in this phase is to find a mate and reproduce. They will follow their instincts towards the person they have chosen, ignoring any pain or injuries suffered along the way.
In the final stage, between four hours and two days from the beginning of the transformation process, the person will be unable to control themselves. In this phase, they will be able to reproduce, but not speak or see (at least until the next full moon comes around).
It is at this point that a lycan shepherd must be contacted. The person who makes the call speaks simply into the phone “I need a werewolf guide.” A lycan shepherd then appears within fifteen minutes.
They are able to lead the werewolf back to human form at the next full moon, but only if they are not prevented from completing their task.
Finally, if a lycan shepherd is attacked or hindered in any way during their transformation session, the person they are trying to help will be stuck as a werewolf for another cycle of fifteen nights.
A lycan shepherd is a person who seems to have an emotional or spiritual connection with wolves. This connection can be anything from having several fur coat coats to coming home and hearing a distinct wolf howl, even when you’re not out in the wilderness. It’s common for this experience to stick with people for the rest of their lives–seeing them change their lifestyles in order to become more like wolves, adjusting their diets away from being primarily carnivorous and towards becoming mostly herbivores (to better match that of wolves).
Lycan shepherds are people who become medieval-style werewolf knights by having a violent encounter with a werewolf. This usually means they fight and kill the wolf, but it could be just a ferocious bite.
Some try to convince themselves that they remain in control because of their will – they figure as long as they don’t eat or allow themselves to feed off humans, then it’s okay because they’re still different and fighting against an inner nature. But there is no difference between the two; being infected with lycanthropy is like contracting rabies from an animal attack without showing any symptoms until days later when all of your neural connections to your rational mind are severed…
A lycan herder is someone who works with wolves and sheep or cattle.
Lycan herding is a funny thing. It’s not really done anymore because it’s better to use guard dogs for big shipments of livestock, but here in America that isn’t always possible. Typically the “wolf” would be behind a fence, and the livestock would just have to start running when they saw him coming out the gate. The wolf can’t run very fast compared to cows or horses so he doesn’t catch up as fast as our best guard dogs, but he herds them alright.
This is someone who lives as a wolf, but during the day they are in human form.
Lycanthropes are humans who turn into their animal selves (or therianthropes) under the full moon or other nights of power. They have been thought to act as guardians over human beings that they keep safe from supernatural harm, as well as being spiritual guides and healers for both people and animals.
A lycan shepherd is a human who hunts and protects other humans who are werewolves.
A person can be born a lycan shepherd, or they can be given the ability by someone else of sufficient skill or strength. One way to make somebody into a lycan shepherd is for them to drink galloup, which is made from the gallstone, bile ducts and leftovers from an animal that has been eating another animal’s blood.
Another way is through drinking blood taken from one’s own tongue when in wolf form. When doing this, it would make sense that they would need to do so at least once every day because their body needs time to naturally regenerate each day while sleeping between dusk and dawn like all animals.
A lycan shepherd is a person who looks after and guides animals with the instinct to change into a wolf, fox, or dog.
A lycan guide is one of three types of spells used by witches to prevent their curses from spreading. The other two are protection and warding spells. In order for this spell to work properly, it must be cast before the curse has passed on from one person to another and you need someone in nature-scape such as a forest or valley with an abundance of water falls. They walk around chanting symbols which were made up by Native Americans considered sacred songs for healing large areas.
A lycan shepherd (or lycan herder) is someone who lives among the predators, either because they are a predator themselves or have chosen to live as one.
Lytans and other werewolves often refer to themselves as “shepherds”, because they are on the border between civilization and wildness. They protect humans from the more predatory societies within our own species, including those wanting to try upon us their philosophies of unchaining humans’ animal natures without actually addressing them in action. So one could call a lycan herder both primal protectionist and defender of civilization. Both roles are crucial for protecting society from tearing itself apart in self-annihilation, but it requires deep understanding of human behavior past its surface level to realize this.
Lytans are a part of the pack, but they live apart from it, either by choice or exile. They have a very separate culture and independent goals from lycans except in rare cases where a shepherd actually becomes a lycan himself. The two also tend to not get along very well due to their different lifestyles, which can lead to some deeply embittered feelings if a shepherd happens to meet a lycan in human form.
Lytans are hunters and dangerous predators who sometimes come into conflict with humans, but they are also capable of understanding the value of civilization and working within it for its continued success and protection. Shepherds generally do not want to destroy civilization, but rather protect it from being destroyed by humanities darker urges. They have a keen sense of the fragility of society, and they are willing to give up their own freedom if it is what is needed for humans as a species to continue on.
They tend to live more solitary lives than lycans too, or in small packs (often extended family groups) that protect one another. They tend to be very protective of their territory, even if they live in the city where they are harder to enforce boundaries on. Each lycan shepherd will have his or her own philosophy of what is appropriate for an individual to do which fits within the pack’s rule of law, but understanding that law and agreeing with it is just as crucial to lycan society as those who enforce the law itself.
