From my work with Twitch streamers, I’ve seen one streamer who earns $2.87 per viewer on average with a current average of 6 viewers not including his own subs – that would be around $80-$100 per hour or $160-$200 a day. The split between YouTube, Twitch, and the platform used to collect donations is different depending on what kind of streamer you are and what business model you have going for yourself but it’s important to know that you have two main streams of income. One is your viewership amount which includes subs and donations (this can be anywhere from under $1 to over 1000+ USD) while the other has no relation to either Twitch or viewership (venue deals).

In my experience as a Twitch streamer, I make roughly $2.50 per subscriber after Twitch takes their cut. Overall, the amount a Twitch streamer makes per sub can vary depending on their subscriber count and any additional benefits they offer to their subscribers.

Twitches contribution based streaming system is one of the only subscription models that pays streamers for a continual, active audience. For every 400 minutes you spend live on Twitch (2.5% of your total time), they’ll pay you $1.

On average, I’m going to guess that a few thousand people could be in chat at any given moment during my livestreams and so I would make about 12 cents per sub per day just from chat donations alone! And there will also sometimes be offline donors who send me messages about how much they loved my last broadcast or followers who donate directly through Paypal too…these are all aspects that contribute to the revenue that helps fund my entertainment.

Note: Income can vary depending on many factors!

Twitch streamers typically make around $2-4 per sub.

Every month, a Twitch streamer will get 60% of the total money that they collected from subs throughout the previous month. What this means is that:
    1) It’s hard to be super popular on YouTube and also earn anything on Twitch because someone has to starve for the other channel
    2) Even if you are getting 100k+ subs per day (which would generate thousands of dollars),
    3) Fluctuations in your follower count can drastically change your payout rate from month to month. Perhaps more importantly though…
4)…that does NOT account for all the costs incurred while streaming!
Streaming requires a consistent internet connection and equipment such as mics, webcams etc.

Twitch.tv’s minimum number of subs per streamer is 2500, so the answer to this question will be at least that.

YouTube can make money through ads on videos and channels, but those depend on how popular and worth advertising they are. Twitch is different because if viewers subscribe to a streamer, they pay anywhere from $4-40/month (depending on location) for privileges like chat features, emotes & badges in chat, or video discounts–whether you’re subscribed or not!
So there’s no set amount because it varies depending on the type of benefits people are looking to get from subscribing. However, as I said before your audience needs 2k+ subscribers in order to make any significant income off subscriptions.

Hard to say – it’s a function of how many hours they stream, what games they play and for the size of their audience. It’s also worth noting that Twitch has not made public their full bonuses and affiliate programs, so some people may find actual numbers more reliable than guesstimates.

You can get $1-2 per promotional sub plus variable CPM for ads that run on your channel (which is dependent upon factors such as the game you’re playing), but there are no hard figures available on this site due to the ongoing debate with YouTube. There are also deals on premium content like emoticons, bitcents transactions, and subscribers-only chatrooms which can make for significant payouts form time to time.

The income of a Twitch streamer is dependent on a variety of factors, one being their number of subs. A Twitch streamers starting base may be anywhere between $1 and $5 per sub.

The more popular they are, the higher the range. Some have seen as much as an increase to up around $500 per new sub with 1 million followers (a huge jump from 3k). But since it’s not such an official place like YouTube or Facebook–lots of places won’t even allow you to make money if you’re under 18 years old–it doesn’t really follow any set guidelines for respecting copyright material or following how freelance artists should be compensated either.

That depends. It’s a difficult question as it goes on to say that the numbers vary so much depending on how many followers a channel will get, how well they market themselves, and other factors.

The more followers or viewers a streamer has, the better chance of being sponsored by an item available company (remember those commercials on TV?).

Patreon is another way to earn money from streaming by offering subscriptions for fees for exclusive content that will be released over time. Even $1 per month could work for some streamers who may not have thousands of followers. In this case, you might feel like you’re “investing in their success.”

The amount of money a channel makes specifically from subs is confidential, but estimates place it somewhere within the range of $0.06 – $1.00 USD per sub per month, which means that if you subscribed to the channel you would pay anywhere between 0.06 – 1 dollars per month. There’s a bit more than just dollars and cents though, as Twitch has other ad opportunities throughout its site depending on the YouTube ads they sell there- those go up around 2 million views for a single spot which goes for about 5-7 thousand bucks at an average rate due to their high availability because of streaming being so popular on Twitch now.

The average Twitch streamer earns between $5 and $7 per sub during the course of a month.

Luckily, streaming on Twitch can be done from almost anywhere with an internet connection. This means that if you are ready to finally dedicate your life to being a full-time channel then you’ll need either an epic 1080p or 4K gaming monitor in order to maximize potential earnings.

As a Twitch streamer with a growing subscriber base, I can tell you that on average, streamers make roughly $2.50-$3.50 per subscriber each month after Twitch takes its cut. However, this can vary greatly depending on factors such as the streamer’s popularity, content quality, and engagement with viewers. It’s important to focus on building a loyal and supportive community to increase your subscriber count and ultimately your income.

I don’t know the answer to this. It would vary depending on how much they had followers and what type of streams they are hosting. Twitch is a large platform that hosts many different types of streams (and I’ve never streamed). The average person has no way or knowing these things.
