How to read a person’s Aura, and what is the meaning of the color?
The aura can be read in various ways and each color has a different meaning. The colors that represent the auric field are made of the energy generated by our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves. A lifestyle of mindful practices like yoga or deep meditation can help to balance these energies leading to more serenity.
Research from Carlson Wade shows how aura reading is possible and it is just a matter of gaining practice and being able to interpret what you see with your eyes
Another study by Kirlian photography also show that everyone’s hands have an electric charge force around them which acts like an invisible body suit. But some people seem almost covered in this skin-like force while others have only patches here and there-referred to as auras.
And after a while, you will be able to read others’ auric fields by looking at their energy patterns. For this purpose, we have listed down the various colors and what they mean:
Red aura – Indicates strong passion and desire for action in the person. If your partner’s aura is red, you can say he is a strong-willed person.
Red aura people are believed to be good leaders and they often accomplish their goals by getting the support of others. If your partner’s aura is red, it means he or she has an intense personality.
Orange aura – People having orange aura are fun loving and have lots of creative talents. If your partner’s aura is red, it means they love to live life on the edge and want to be admired for their boldness.
Yellow aura – Yellow denotes intellectual pursuits, education, logic and reasoning. A person with yellow aura can convey his message in an effective manner. It also shows that he has the ability to hold his ground when involved in a conversation.
Green aura – If your partner has a green aura, it means he is a healer. A green aura symbolizes healing and creativity, which can be used for the good of humanity. It also shows that the person you are with seeks peace in all its form.
Blue aura – A person with a blue aura is calm, contemplative and trustworthy. He has a serene disposition and seeks to inspire others with his knowledge.
The person you are with can serve as a spiritual guide for you.
Indigo aura – This color shows the presence of deep thinking and spiritualism in a person. It denotes intuition, clairvoyance and a strong psychic ability.
Violet aura – If your partner has a violet aura, it shows that he is a seeker of truth. He may also have an interest in spirituality and religion. But beware if the person’s aura has turned dark purple, as it shows arrogance and conceit on his part.
I think the most important characteristic in reading auras is to be able to sense, see, feel or hear them. There are other explanations such as dream work, meditation or deep relaxation but when it comes down to what I experienced and taught these are my thoughts and revelations.
Aura can just be seen as ball of rainbow like light around an object. What produces aura colors is not really known – some say sun radiation while others say it’s based on the person’s emotions so understanding one’s feelings is key – for example fear of inadequacy may produce yellowish green aura while white signifies purity with innocence while love would produce pinkish red color with kindness raining diamonds all around making you totally happy and content-making morning people the happiest of all human beings.
Speaking of happiness, you can recall a time when someone just stared at you for no apparent reason, but they actually were looking at your aura without knowing it and feeling what was in there. They must have had an emotional experience with your past or present life because this knowledge is timeless and infinite so to speak.
The best way to read Aura is to look at shape and shade or color of the aura. If the Aura is fuzzy, it means that person has lots of energy in them they are also very creative people.
If their Aura looks like a doughnut with lots of colorful bubbles, then you know for sure this person doesn’t have any harmful feelings and is very positive.
The aura is made up of a person’s electromagnetic field and can be read in more detail by experienced people. Reading auras is not an exact science, but it has been shown to be remarkably accurate in some cases. The color most common with negative attitude or anger is red.
This answer does not include mention of colors because Aura reading is subjective and also because Americans seem to have such limited ability to see the world around them objectively when it comes to matters of their own emotions and mental state; it’s hard enough for readers without bringing into account someone who has no idea what they are looking at! Try re-reading this sentence if you liked this one better: “Reading auras accurately as well as the colors that are seen is subjective and also due to the fact that Americans don’t know how to read anything other than what’s presented to them.”
May I ask what part of the world you live in? The five colors mentioned, red green blue yellow orange, are actually primary colors! Those ARE the primary colors. You cannot compare primary colors with secondary colors because the latter are derived from the former to create even more colors. You cannot derive red, green or blue without either white or black in some form. The five colors mentioned are actually primary colors and NOT secondary colors which change back into their respective primaries when mixed together in equal parts.
Color therapy is an ancient Chinese art that I have studied. I think it is wonderful that you want to learn more about color. However, in my studies, red was never taught as a negative color! Red has many different properties depending on where the spectrum falls in the visible light area of its range. The primary colors are what they are and cannot be changed unless you go back in time before pigments were created and the world was in black and white.
I am sorry if I sound argumentative, but considering that red is a primary color, not a secondary color like orange that must derive from one of the primaries to be made; this question seems rather simple. It is also important to add here that while people’s individual opinions matter, their personal opinions aside, red is a primary color and cannot be derived from any other color in the spectrum.
Each Aura is different. The color of a person’s spirit can vary depending on their mood, personality, and age. On average the colors are usually some variation on white or grayish white. A new born baby will have an almost transparent Aura until it begins to slowly grow in energy vibration after birth.
One of the most basic ways to read a person’s aura is to look at the color, condition, and thickness.
Color can hint at what emotional state they are in currently. A bright, clear color might indicate that they are happy or calm; if the color is dark and cloudy, it may mean they have unresolved issues or are feeling down. The way these colors actually look can depend on lighting or an individual’s skin tone.
Condition refers to how full auras generally appear. As an individual feels good and has clear thoughts their aura will be richly colored with light seeming to flow out from within them- this is optimum health! If there’s a dark area in the center of their aura this is called a “hole in the aura” and it may be because they are harboring unresolved issues. If an individual is in poor health (or not in good emotional state) their aura may be lackluster, faded or even gray. No light “flowing” out of the center indicates that they are lacking energy.
Thickness can indicate how well an individual is grounded; if they feel fear it will manifest itself as a sense of fragmentation because the person is not firmly rooted in their body. Fragmented auras also indicate that an individual may have been traumatized at some point, or have significant stress going on in their lives currently. You can read more about how to interpret the aura here .
There are many different interpretations of what colors mean and it largely depends on which school of thought you subscribe to. We’ll take a look at what some of the most common ones and break down which colors mean what (and why) below:
Black : Represents fear, anger and negativity; protection – The absence or presence of light in an aura represents how much life-force energy there is in a person’s being. If there’s no light, it means they are sick or very scared. This color can also indicate that the person is sad or has done something wrong. It may appear as just a small area, but depending on how dark it is, it can mean different things. The lighter it is, the more positive energy is being generated.
Light black: A person may be holding onto negative thoughts or actions that they need to free themselves from.
Dark black: This is the color of hopelessness and indicates a person who has given up hope, either because of emotional trauma or illness. It can also indicate past drug use, especially if the individual was not able to overcome their addiction.
Red : Represents love, passion, lust – The most basic interpretation of red in an aura is that it represents an individual who is full of life and energy. Think of the stereotypical notion of “a fiery personality”. The more intense the color, the more vitality there is to this person’s being. A pale or faded red aura may indicate that the person is in danger of losing their vitality.
Yellow : Represents intellect, knowledge and wisdom – As with red, yellow in an aura represents a high level of mental activity, but in this case it also indicates intelligence and ability to learn. Someone with a bright yellow aura can be described as “bright” or “enlightened”. A pale yellow aura may indicate that the person is not using their mental abilities to their full potential.
Green : Represents harmony, balance and growth – This color represents someone who is at one with themselves, nature and the world around them. It represents people who are in touch with their emotions. A bright green aura indicates a person who is in tune with their emotions and able to use them positively. If a person has a dull or dark green aura, this means they are emotionally conflicted and not fully present within themselves.
Blue : Represents calmness, understanding and healing – This color represents someone who tends towards introversion. It’s not necessarily a bad thing–a lot of the most creative people are introverted. People who have bright blues in their aura are usually relatively quiet individuals, but they are deep thinkers and often very insightful. They tend to be empathic and able to tune into other peoples’ emotional states. A pale blue can indicate that this person is feeling emotionally drained, or needs to work on their own emotional stability. Pale blues can also indicate that the person may be suffering from depression.
Pink : Represents joy, love and compassion – This is a very positive color and represents someone who cares about others (and themselves) unconditionally . It’s the color of unconditional love, making it the happiest color of them all. A bright pink aura represents someone filled with happiness and love, while a pale pink aura indicates that they need to work on their self-love or may feel unloved in general.
Basically, auras are identifiable by their three main colors—red, yellow and blue.
Red means that the person has an intense energy about them. They may be someone who is confident and focused on achieving their goals in life. A lot of peoples’ auras turn red when they feel powerful emotions such as anger or love. This is because the person is feeling incredibly passionate about what they’re doing or talking about at the time so all of their energy is being channeled through this moment to where they can literally see it around them in pulsing waves of light. It could also mean that the person wants to spend plenty of time alone so that they don’t have to share these emotional experiences with anyone else.
Red auras are the most common, as they symbolise a person’s passion about what they’re currently doing or working towards in life. An example of this would be the moment you find yourself so engrossed by a conversation that time seems to stand still and all you can see is red light around everyone else in your view.
Yellow auras symbolise someone who is full of self-esteem and confidence. They constantly have a clear idea about what they want in life, and know how to get it. It’s very rare that you will see a yellow aura around people who aren’t confident or successful, because their confidence radiates from them constantly creating the space for them to live the life they want.
Yellow auras mean that this is someone I’m drawn to and feel connected with them on some level. They could be someone who has a career I aspire to one day, or perhaps we’ve both gone through similar experiences which would make us really compatible friends. It’s like we’re on the same wavelength and can relate to each other no matter what we’re talking about.
Yellow auras surround people who are often very popular in social situations because they know how to express their thoughts and ideas when communicating with others, making them interesting and fun company to be around.
Blue auras indicate someone who is very intelligent, introspective and focused on exploring their spirituality. They are perhaps the most open-minded of all the colors as they are always looking for answers to some of life’s biggest questions. Blue auras are often associated with professors, authors, physicists, doctors etc., because these people have dedicated themselves to learning everything about their specific subject or field.
Blue auras mean that this person is someone I truly respect and admire. They’re incredibly intelligent and always have something interesting to say about everything, even the most minute details of things we take for granted in life.
The color blue can also indicate that somebody seeks peace and quiet because they’re often lost in thought or contemplating life. However, blue is also the color most often associated with calmness and serenity, so it can also signify that this person is most likely very easy-going and laid back.
The colors of an aura are always constantly changing depending on what’s happening in our lives; whenever you feel a strong emotional response (positive or negative) to a situation or person, these colors will manifest around you.
For example, the color yellow will appear when we feel confident and proud of ourselves, whereas red manifests when we’re angry. The aura is a reflection of our personalities—the thoughts and emotions that make us who we are—so it’s constantly changing based on where we are in life.
The white light everyone’s auras emit is the same color as the other person’s aura. The number of colors present and the way they are distributed within an individual’s aura, however, can vary substantially. There are many reasons for this variability including childhood trauma or injury to the brain or spine, exhaustive physical or emotional stress over time (as seen in some cases of extreme poverty), prolonged abuse of alcohol or drugs, etcetera.
Aura reading does not involve any invasive procedures such as herbal ingestion in order to attain “higher consciousness” so it couldn’t cause stress on a person’s body/brain/spine necessitating their aura be read by someone other than themself.
-Red: Red gives off a very strong, passionate energy. It’s usually indicative of an open personality and a free spirit. It also signifies the need for intensity to break through inertia and to create movement in one’s life. Beware of this person if you’re looking for a quiet relationship!
-Yellow: Yellow is a color that exudes happiness, giving people peace from worries and allowing them to enjoy themselves with little effort. Yellow isn’t good at forcing anything so it will be hard for yellow aura readers to exert any great influence over others or promote change unless they’re amongst other yellows who are feeling bored or understimulated about their lives.
-Blue: Blue is typically associated with calmness due to its serenity and stability. Blue aura holders are peaceful individuals who don’t like loud or rambunctious people around them because it can be too much for them.
-Green: Green is the color of prosperity, abundance and success. Its energy brings growth, harmony and balance – great feelings to have in one’s life! Green aura holders are very capable individuals who are intelligent enough to use their abilities to achieve what they really want out of life.
-Gold or Silver Aura Around The Human Body: These auras are rare and denote someone who has excelled in many areas of their life. The silver aura is the more spiritual one and denotes great wisdom, whereas the golden aura signifies great fortune and wealth. Most people with this type of auric energy have astounded others with their accomplishments and abilities throughout their lifetime!
-Black Aura: This is the color of fear, rage or negativity. If you’re in the presence of someone with an aura this color, run!
-Purple Aura: This color denotes spirituality and wisdom; however, it can also indicate someone who wants to control others. Be very careful if this person approaches you – chances are they want something from you!
-White Aura: This is a color of purity and innocence. People with white aura energy are very friendly and good-natured, but they can also be naive or selfless to the point where they let others walk all over them.
How to read a person’s aura and what the color means:
In general, it is a good idea to first ask your subject if they would like for you to do this. Some people may be embarrassed even by the request due to sensitivity about their condition. Secondly, the colors of an Aura change constantly so your reading will never be exactly alike with someone else’s. If you are doing this on yourself or another that you know well then see where in particular you feel a surge of energy when near these areas of red, blue, green etc… Play around with different colors while still maintaining focus on whatever aspect is most important (ie-strengths). This way there will always be something new and exciting happening throughout the reading.
- The Aura is the extension of the physical body (and its world) into the Astral Plane. Your Aura becomes visible to the Astral eyes just as the physical body is visible to your normal vision. The human Aura can cover great distances of up to 18 feet in all directions around the person.
- I believe that you are more susceptible to seeing someone else’s aura when you see it right after they have looked at you with intense focus. This causes the light energy of their Aura to resonate with the light energy of yours, which in turn causes it to become brighter. Once this happens you will be able to actually see it around them for maybe a few seconds before they look away or even if they don’t.
- The color White does not exist in nature anywhere. There are many different explanations of why white light contains all the colors of the visible spectrum, so if you are interested in finding out more on this subject I suggest looking it up. I have heard that white is supposed to be the most powerful color found within a person’s Aura due to its purity.
- Learning how to read someone else’s Aura will help you to become more intuitive and sensitive to their moods, emotions and the nature of the kind of person that they are. This will help you better understand them, and if you yourself have an open aura then it can also help to strengthen your relationship with this person as well as those around you in general.
- Have fun experimenting!
