An ASPX file is a server side web form that is often used in Microsoft’s .NET framework.
ASPX files are compiled and managed by the .NET Framework, with built-in features such as an event handling model and server controls for Web 1.0 type data entry pages. The big benefit of this technique is its intuitive handling of dynamically generated Web pages that are returned to the browser immediately after being edited on-the-fly without using JavaScript or resorting to HTML code which would require a refresh before becoming functional.
