I first heard the phrase “winner winner, chicken dinner!” from my grandfather who served in the military during World War II. He explained that soldiers would use it as a slang term for celebrating a victory and enjoying a special meal after a successful mission or battle. It has since become a popular saying in gaming and everyday life to signify triumph and reward.
