There isn’t a specific order, but the 3rd will leave you feeling unsatisfied.
You can watch them in any order but it’s better to not watch 3rd unless you want to get spoiled about what happened before episode 1. But if you plan on watching the anime again then watching the last one first won’t really affect your viewing experience.
The correct order to watch these anime is as follows:
It’s important to note that there are a good number of people who recommend watching the TV series before playing either of the two games.
The order of the Danganronpa anime has never been confirmed. However, for those people who have not played Danganronpa and want to start as soon as possible, there are some ways to go about it. One way would be going in chronological order of their deaths like they do in the first game Evergreen case. Another would be like Kanon’s Timeline that goes by what happened before the Kokuyo arc then on from there and so on until her death at the end. The other way would be watching my personal recommendation which is Chisa’s order because it follows each character one by one which will give a good understanding as a whole story-wise how everything was connected to each individual episode
Disregarding the weak story, I think it’s worth watching Dangan Ronpa if you go into it with a mindset where you’re just looking at each case as an isolated story and not really worrying about how they connect. Otherwise, it ruins a lot of the point to be spoiled on so many details before actually experiencing them. I guess this is one of those instances where the visual novel would make sense as well.
Aside from that, order-wise I personally don’t know since that largely depends on one’s tastes in anime and whether or not they find a particular villain compelling enough to watch more than once. My personal favorites among the killers are Goshi Mukuro and Junko Enoshima.
Here’s my order for watching the anime:
One reason to watch the series out of order, outside of a desire for viewer suspense, would be to see which characters’ introduction episodes you enjoy the most by watching their miniseries based on when they are introduced in each series. Other than that, however, I do not believe there are any benefits.
