    Even if we can be sure that Goku first flew to outer space when he was maybe six (or eight), it remains unknown how long ago that was, too. So for now, while we do have a rough idea of his approximate age according to the manga, and based on what power levels he’s supposed to have achieved at different points in the series – but until an official story comes out with a time frame of some kind – we’re stuck waiting. Again!

Nitrogen and hydrogen have a lower-energy burning potential than most other gases because of their lighter molecular weight. Oxygen is directly taken from the air by photosynthesis in plants and certain bacteria (in what is called anaerobic respiration) to create carbohydrates (sugar). At high temperatures these gases react with each other to produce the green flame you see on top of your gas stove. It’s called incandescence or chemiluminescence — light caused by chemical reactions instead of heat. The hotter the flame burns, it will turn blue or bluish-white but never green again.
