Goku’s age varies depending on the media he is featured in. In English dubs of the series, Goku is 12 years old when introduced in “Dragon Ball”. Depending on the transliteration used for his name then, he was either 12 or 13 at the end of it (18 ff common equivilents) with a birthdate of March 18, 737. At this point Krillin became 11 and Roshi turned 70-years-old. In episode 79 while fighting Dinosaur(an), Tien asks why Goku doesn’t use his full power to which Yamchas overpowers Goku with only a third of his strength and responds by saying that because Goku never trained enough even as a child he couldn’t get any more power.
The first Dragon Ball anime series was released in 1986. Given that this is the ‘canon’ story, Goku will be turning 50 this year.
Goku has always been a young boy and you’re an idiot if you believe he’s 50 years old.
He’ll be turning 18 thirty-five days from now!
Dragon Ball Z is not in the public domain. Goku’s age is unknown, as there has been no definitive date of his birth released yet.
Even if we can be sure that Goku first flew to outer space when he was maybe six (or eight), it remains unknown how long ago that was, too. So for now, while we do have a rough idea of his approximate age according to the manga, and based on what power levels he’s supposed to have achieved at different points in the series – but until an official story comes out with a time frame of some kind – we’re stuck waiting. Again!
Goku should be 42 years old based on a lot of math.
Goku was born on the planet Vegeta and was trained by his dad until age 10, then he went to Earth and became a monkey dad at age 12. Goku appeared in Dragon Ball, which aired from 1986-1989. This means that the year is now 1996-97 A.D., so the date must also be 1996-97 (no leap years!). That would make him 27 or 28 IRL (depending on whether it’s counting Earth time as IRL or not). Now there are 276 episodes of Dragon Ball divided by 6 classes per episode = 43 words per class, meaning that 1 episode = 55 minutes in length when Dragonball comes out.
Goku is 36 years old.
Goku was born 30 June, Age 737 which would make him 36 by the first episode of Dragon Ball series. He was found as an infant on Mount Paozu nine months after King Piccolo’s reign of terror and martial arts tournaments had ceased during this time period, it follows that he’s 9 throughout most of the original Dragon Ball anime and 10 throughout all of its sequels and movies.
Goku’s age is unknown. Usually this question crops up because of the “Dragon Ball Z” Dragon, which occurred when Goku was 10 and it ages anything by one year to grow up with him.
However it appears that what drives this aging process is not a physical clock (or Universe) but rather self-awareness on the part of our hero – in other words, even if he had lived his entire life without knowing he was more than simply an earthling, once Vegeta abandoned him, became a king and came back from the dead as a fighter against evil then Goku would have aged naturally anyway.
Goku was first born in age 784.
At the end of Dragon Ball, Goku’s body permanently turned into a child’s body in order to let go of everything he had built up over the course of his life and return to Juesen realm. In this way, while we don’t know how long exactly Goku has lived, we know that he definitely is not 55 from when Dragon Ball started.
Goku’s exact age is never revealed, but he’s at least over 100. The following information can give a general idea of his age and how old he was when certain events happened in the series.
As a child, Goku lived with Grandpa Gohan on Mount Paozu . He then spends his adolescence training under Master Roshi to control his ki . At some point during their training, Krillin was introduced to them (he was roughly 8-12 years older than Master Roshi). Years later, both Goku and Krillin turn 18 at a party stating that “eighteen is going through an awkward phase that most people go through right before adulthood”.
