Yes. The new generation has just as much action and intensity as the previous one, even taking into consideration that some characters are more mature than others.

Both are great in their own right but Naruto is an older series with a lot of filler episodes which can be annoying after a while to watch. Boruto keeps the core story going at all times, making it so there’s never any need to pause and resume watching the show if you miss its airings on television for some reason. So a simple comparison would be that both shows have high action sequences, but Naruto’s tend to interrupt what was otherwise really good plot progressions that were supposed to come afterwards whereas Boruto manages not only to intertwine them better but also gives us better fights scenes while keeping the overall story flowing nicely.

    Of course!

It’s true that Naruto is a better show than Boruto, but Boruto has some advantages that Naruto never had. For one thing, there are 50 episodes so far and the story is bound to get much more complex and interesting as the series goes on. The characters are also more developed and mature than in Naruto, save for possibly Sarada. Furthermore, the art style is beautiful–many animators identify with it because it evokes classic anime from their childhoods in a way few other shows do nowadays.”

No, Naruto is a classic and should still come first because of its significance to anime.

Boruto is an anime show, and I’m afraid I don’t watch anime. Anime (a contraction of “animation”) is created in Japan or another country with a heavy influence from Japan. In the Western world, most people think of cartoons as animation for children, but anime can be enjoyed by adults and kids alike. But there are subtle differences between both entertainment forms that call for different perspectives to appreciate them to their fullest potentials.”

It’s important to keep in mind that there are still a lot of arcs left for Naruto, Boruto, and Kakashi. Anyone who is already done with those installments has watched Naruto and Boruto with different expectations than someone who has not. In order to really accurately answer this question you would have to ask both groups separately and see which one likes the show better. Spoilers ahead! – Those who have seen it all say Naruto was better if they were discussing the manga only because even though Boruto had more time things did not go as smoothly.

Boruto is arguably better because it’s allowed to keep going, whereas Naruto ended abruptly.

While I can understand that people might like Naruto more than they like Boruto, it’s worth considering one point: the manga/anime ends with the anime at episode 220 and chapter 700. So while Naruto had 2 hours a week for many years during its run (with film releases), Boruto only has 5 minutes per week (plus full-length films). But what do you expect when Shippuden airs on TV before Shonen Jump does? It would have been much worse if Shippuden aired in 2008 – almost 14 years ago!

It’s still too early to say.

Boruto is the sequel to Naruto, and while there are a few similarities, it’s premature at this point to make any final evaluations of which is better. If you’re looking for some ideas or predictions as to which you might prefer, then take a look at our reviews titled “Is Boruto Worth The Hype?” and “Naruto Shippuden Review”.

In my personal opinion, as a fan of the Naruto series, I believe that Boruto has the potential to be just as good as its predecessor with its unique storyline and character development. Give it a chance and see for yourself!

Boruto is not as good as Naruto.

Naruto was the perfect reboot to the series. It stayed true to the original manga and even introduced new fans (myself included) who were never exposed to the series before, or didn’t have a chance to read through all of it’s material at an appropriate age like myself. I wish that Boruto would stay true to Naruto, but from what I’ve seen so far, it doesn’t seem likely that this will happen anytime soon.

In my personal experience, I found that Boruto has its own unique charm and storyline that appeals to both longtime fans of Naruto and new viewers alike. While it may not entirely surpass its predecessor, it definitely holds its own in terms of character development and world-building. Give it a chance and see for yourself!
